The Author

A lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest, Horror and Science Fiction author Amanda Guinn, was originally published as A. Maire Dinsmore by Blysster Press in 2011 when she was a finalist in the Crypticon Seattle writing competition. In 2012 she was the first prize winner in the same competition for the short story ‘Experimental Procedure’. She published her debut novel, Planet Bound, in 2013.

When she is not writing, Amanda works in the travel industry, runs the nonprofit Biohazard Party and is a frequent attendee of Crypticon Seattle.
